Meet our Fix and Flip Transformation Contest Winner!

At Easy Street Capital we’re always inspired by the dedication and creativity of our real estate investors. That’s why we hosted the Fix and Flip Transformation Contest, where we invited investors to showcase their most remarkable projects from our EasyFix loan program. We were blown away by the incredible transformations we saw, but one entry truly stood out.

Without further ado, we’re thrilled to introduce you to our Fix and Flip Transformation Contest Winner: Leslie and Tony Rickel with One Union Properties!

Leslie and Tony’s Story:

“My husband and I married one year ago and decided since we are so in love that we should start a business together, lol! I guess we’re destined for keeps cause we’re still married after flipping this house! Talk about a diamond in the rough, rough, rough. From poor foundation to original 50 year old windows to decades of 2 packs a day, this house needed a complete redo. Repairing the foundation led to cracked cast iron pipes…oh, we have to redo ALL the plumbing! Can’t remediate the cigi smell…oh, we have to remove all the drywall…oh, there’s termite damage to repair…oh, all the insulation needs to be replaced…OH, OH, OH! Not to mention a wet bar from the 70s that no one uses to a horrible kitchen layout and small bathrooms, this house was the gift that kept on giving. BUT, fast forward only 100 days and look at the difference! It’s fully functional for the way families live today complete with a mud area (bye-bye mini bar) to a completely open living layout to an oversized patio to magnificent walk-in showers. Such a HUGE transformation in such a short time! And now, on to the next!”

We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Leslie and Tony for their remarkable achievement.

Thank you to all who participated in the Fix and Flip Transformation Contest. Your hard work, creativity, and dedication to real estate investing are truly commendable. Every project we received showcased the immense potential of fix and flip investments, and we’re proud to have such a talented community of investors.
