Your investment project continues after closing—and your financing support should, too. Easy Street Capital has brought loan servicing in-house for nearly all newly originated EasyFix fix-and-flip and bridge loans and EasyBuild ground-up construction loans, giving borrowers direct access to the company’s team for support through payoff.
Announced October 5, 2026, the change brings day-to-day servicing into the same company investors rely on for financing. For loans serviced under the new model, borrowers can contact Easy Street Capital directly for servicing questions, payoff requests, and other loan-related needs.
What Is In-House Loan Servicing?
In-house loan servicing means the lender’s own team handles ongoing loan support after closing, rather than routing those responsibilities through a separate servicing company.
For Easy Street Capital borrowers whose loans fall under the new model, that includes direct help with servicing inquiries, payoff statements, reinstatements, and verifications of mortgage. Borrowers can work with dedicated specialists familiar with their loans as they move toward completing their investment plans.
Which Easy Street Capital Loans Are Included?
The change applies to nearly all newly originated loans in two of Easy Street Capital’s residential transition loan programs:
-
EasyFix: Financing for fix-and-flip projects and bridge loans.
-
EasyBuild: Financing for ground-up construction projects.
For loans serviced directly by Easy Street Capital, the in-house team handles servicing inquiries and requests without a third-party servicer acting as an intermediary.
What In-House Servicing Means for Real Estate Investors
When you are managing a renovation, coordinating construction, or preparing to sell or refinance a property, knowing who to contact about your loan matters. Easy Street Capital’s in-house servicing model strengthens that connection with direct access and continuity of support.
Dedicated Servicing Specialists
Borrowers can contact Easy Street Capital’s servicing team directly, including by phone, for help with loan questions and next steps.
Timely Responses
The team prioritizes responding to servicing inquiries the same business day, helping borrowers get the information they need to move requests forward.
Continuity Throughout Your Loan
Contacts familiar with each loan help borrowers navigate servicing requests without repeatedly explaining their circumstances.
Direct Handling of Important Requests
Easy Street Capital manages payoffs, reinstatements, and verifications of mortgage internally, reducing the need to coordinate with a separate servicing company.
Support From Closing Through Payoff
Closing is an important milestone, but real estate investors still have work ahead. A renovation needs to move forward. A new construction project needs to take shape. A completed property may be ready for sale or refinance.
Bringing servicing in-house gives Easy Street Capital greater responsibility for supporting borrowers through that part of the investment process.
“For a real estate investor, closing the loan is the beginning of the work,” said Stephen Hagerman, president at Easy Street Capital. “When a borrower needs a payoff statement or help with a servicing question, that request deserves the same attention as the original financing. Bringing servicing in-house gives us greater control over that experience and more responsibility for seeing it through.”
Continued Investment in the EasyExperience
The servicing initiative follows Easy Street Capital’s launch of borrower and broker portals earlier this year. Ongoing borrower portal enhancements will complement the servicing team’s work as the company continues investing in technology and personal support.
Together, these efforts support the EasyExperience: making financing more straightforward for real estate investors, from the initial application through the final payoff.
