In 2025, Easy Street Capital's California team partnered with Families Forward, an Orange County nonprofit dedicated to helping families experiencing homelessness achieve long-term stability through housing, resources, and support services.

Over two days of volunteering, our team worked alongside Families Forward to enhance spaces that serve local families and children every day. The projects were designed to create welcoming, functional environments that support learning, connection, and long-term success. The team completed two major initiatives:

Affordable Housing Beautification Project - Volunteers refreshed the landscaping at a Families Forward affordable housing community by pulling weeds, laying mulch, planting flowers, removing debris, and improving outdoor common areas. These enhancements helped create a cleaner, more inviting environment for residents and their families to enjoy.

After-School Learning Space Transformation - Easy Street Capital donated and assembled furniture, educational materials, toys, décor, and gardening supplies to help transform an after-school program space. The refreshed area included a reading nook, arts and crafts station, STEM learning workspace, and outdoor raised garden beds, creating an engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and grow.

These projects reflect Easy Street Capital's belief that strong communities are built through meaningful partnerships and hands-on service. We are grateful for the opportunity to support Families Forward and the important work they do for families throughout Orange County.
