EASYGIVE 2026
California Volunteer Day
Easy Street Capital's California team partnered with Families Forward for an afternoon of hands-on service across three of their Orange County properties. The goal of this initiative was to improve the spaces families and children rely on every day, helping create environments that foster dignity, opportunity, and a stronger foundation for the future. Our team completed renovation and beautification projects at three Families Forward properties:
Cartwright Community - Volunteers transformed a newly opened after-school space by organizing, assembling, and staging furniture to create dedicated areas for STEM learning, arts and crafts, and reading.
Parc Derian - Our team revitalized another after-school program space, creating engaging environments for learning and creativity while also developing a community wall for residents to enjoy. Outside, volunteers refreshed garden planters, helping establish new fruit, vegetable, and garden spaces that will serve families throughout the community.
21st Street Community - Volunteers focused on exterior improvements, including painting perimeter fencing, refreshing patio furniture and outdoor games, completing landscaping work, and tackling additional beautification projects to create a more welcoming environment for residents.
Thanks to the dedication of our incredible West Coast team and the partnership of Families Forward, these spaces are now better equipped to serve the children and families who call them home. We are proud to support organizations that strengthen communities and create opportunities for families to thrive.
Families Forward is one of the region's most impactful nonprofits, supporting families experiencing homelessness through housing, resources, and programs designed to create long-term stability.
